Loving Vincent (Dorota Kobiela/ Hugh Welchman, 2017)

Don’t stone me but I walked out of Loving Vincent. It is indeed gorgeous to look at. But I found the story-telling stilted, mannered, unengaging. Ultimately, I didn’t care enough to stay.

No stones thrown. I agree with walking out on a film for any reason. Time is all we have. Why waste it on anything we don’t enjoy or learn from unless that’s how we earn our daily crust.
